Raspberry Pi OS • How to turn off HDMI on Pi 5 bookworm?

Hi,
Ive been trying every solution under the sun to turn off HDMI on Pi 5 bookworm.
I want to be able to turn it off via an SSH session remotely.
I am not using the Desktop, just logging into console with an X server running.

❯ xrandr --display :0 --output HDMI-1 --off
Can't open display :0
❯ wlr-randr --output HDMI-A-1 --off
failed to connect to display
❯ dtparam hdmi=off

❯ vcgencmd display_power 0
