Hi Folks
Now that I got my new 8TB SSD connected to my Raspberry Pi (thanks to you!
I am ready to build my backup solution.
I have the exact same 8TB SSD installed into my PC and use it to store a lot of stuff. On my PC I will create two main folders:
- Private folder (which will be accessible only with a password)
- Public folder (which will be accessible from all devices in the network, e.g. for films)
The idea is, that I can save whatever I want on my PC onto that specific SSD and it then automatically is also synched to my Raspberry Pi. So in case my PC breaks down, I still have all the data stored on my NAS.
Also I have used openmediavault a little bit, so it would be nice to do this with openmediavault again.
I am a bit overwhelmed with guides and tutorials online.
Can you suggest me, how to do this? Maybe you know of a guide or youtube tutorial already which you can reccomend for my need?
Thanks in advance!
