Off topic discussion • HELP!!! I Can’t update or Download anything.

I can't download or update anything. The time/date is correct, the internet connection is strong, but nothing seems to be working. I tried downloading Minecraft Java edition about a week before the issue started, but nothing pointed towards it. Minecraft Java edition after I made the purchase on their webpage wouldn't even download. I can change settings and all that jazz, but I can't gain new data. My Pi-Top is a Rasberry Pi 4 and I have had it for about 3-4 years. It has been sitting in storage for about a year or two but the issue started before then. It keeps giving me an error in the terminal after I try to update but I am an EXTREME noob at this kind of stuff so I have no clue what it is saying. I also contacted PI support and they said to just come here. I am REALLY hoping do download the Xbox controller driver and and steam link on it.
