Hello,
I thought there might be enough interest in this to warrant my 3rd post on these forums in 13 years!
I've recently put together a pico-based emulator for the venerable MZ-80K and MZ-80A computers.
It utilises VGA output along with an SD card for storing programs and pwm for sound. There are 3 carrier boards that are currently supported (I believe all roughly based on the reference design, so others ought to be possible with some small code changes).
Details, code and documentation are here: https://z80.timholyoake.uk/the-pico-mz-80k/
If you do try it out, I'd be interested to get feedback.
Thanks,
Tim.
