Troubleshooting • How to use LibreOffice Impress?

Hello

I have a Raspberry Pi 4000, trying to use it as a PC, and I am not finding it user-friendly even for simple things.

For one example, when I press the 'PrtScn' button, it takes a shot of the screen as it is, and saves it automatically to /home/pi. I don't get any message asking me what I want specifically, such a screenshot of part of the screen or all of it, and when I go into the screenshot that has been saved, there are no options to edit it.

I am experiencing the same kind of issues of no control in other ares, and I am not been given options that I should. For example, when I try and use LibreOffice Impress, there is no 'file' option given under the 'insert' tab.

What I am trying to do is create a slideshow using photos, screenshots and possibly PDF's. I can get as far as opening up Impress and selecting a template, and it will insert photos after I select 'Insert' followed by 'Image', but once the photo is inside Impress, I can't edit as I want. I am trying to click on certain parts of the image in order to try and highlight, or black out, or circle bits of it, but each time I click on a part of the image, it thinks I just want to move the whole image.

I have looked up 'help' about the Impress, but it's telling me I should have the 'file' option under the 'insert' tab, but if that's missing, why, and what else might be amiss that is causing me to spend ages fiddling and getting nowhere?

Is this a general problem of not having the Pi set up correctly maybe?

Thank you.
