I am trying to follow this instructionable to add an automatic heater to the Allsky camera system. -https://www.instructables.com/Raspberry ... ky-Camera/.
it said to use the Pimoroni Explorer to have the connections available and to follow the instructions given. However the TMP36 is showing a temp of 105c, this may be as it overheated earlier and a new one is needed.
The main issue though is controlling the relay that was suggested as it won't trip it when the relay should be on.
I've read a bit about 'not enough' voltage to activate the relay and when checking the signal wire to gnd only shows .5 volts.
This is how the instructionable has it set up and I don't understand how they got it to work.
Is it possible to use the explorer board for this purpose or do I need something else?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
