Troubleshooting • Is my raspberry pi 4B dead

I was using it (in the terminal receiving UART data from a custom pcb) but then my OpenVNC connection just shut down. After restarting the pi, I saw from my router's configuration panel that it isn't connected to WiFi anymore. Because of this, I'm not able to connect to it anymore via VNC or SSH. Also tried connecting my monitor to it so no internet connection needed, but there is no signal on the HDMI. Normally when I'd plug it in to power, next to the PWR led there would be a blinking ACT led for about a few seconds, but now when I plug it in, the PWR led gets lit but the ACT led blinks just very briefly, probably a third of a second.

I've had a bit of a heating problem going on for a long time. The rpi gets very hot very quickly. Just a few minutes on, without it being connected to anything that draws considerable power or there being a significant load on the GPU, the heat sink on the SoC is already over 80 degrees celsius. If it's on for long periods, I can barely touch the USB ports because they are very hot too. I wonder if it is the fact that the pi has been exposed to such high temperatures repeatedly for months has shortened its life span so that it now just dropped dead?

Thanks,
Fecal boy
